ORANGE DAY!!!

Hello All-

We have been so busy the past two weeks! The children are learning so much and we all are having so much fun in the process! We have been learning all about our new season "Fall". We have been noticing how the leaves and grass are changing colors. We found different leaves from our nature walk and made a leaf rubbing book made out of the colors that the leaves turn (red, orange, yellow and brown). We have made fall wreaths and pumpkins and spiders! We have also learned all about nursery rhymes, inparticular we spoke about Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and 5 Little Pumpkins, as well as 5 Little Monkeys. We made our own Twinkle Little Star and made our own pumpkin treat holders for our Fall Festival! We just this week learned about community helpers and even got to dress up as one! In our bible stories we have learned all about how Jesus thinks we are all special and how we are fearfully and wonderfully made yet we are all unique. How God heals those who believe in him and to treat others with kindness and help others the way God would want us to help. We also learned how much Jesus loves us so we made crowns to wear to show that we are special .

We have been on 2 field trips, to Brownsdale Farms and to the Post Office. We even mailed our own post card to our house from the post office!We also had a fall festival in which we wore community helper costumes and had lots and lots of treats!

We are having so much fun and we look forward to having even more fun in November!!!

Our Firestation Field Trip!!

Our snack we made for fire safety week!! We made stop lights and learned what green, yellow and red mean!! UMMMMMM....They were good. And parents, we used sugar free frosting....shhhhhhh!!!!!

OUR FIRE STATION FIELD TRIP!!!!!!

We had a blast at the Manhattan Firestation last month!! We learned all about fire safety and actually walked into one of the fire trucks!! The fire men showed us what to do incase a fire happens in our home and how to get out safely!
