AS YOU CAN SEE WE HAD LOTS OF FUN CELEBRATING CHRISTMAS AND JESUS' BIRTHDAY!!!!

Pictures from Parade of Lights!!
We all had a wonderful time at the Mayor's Parade on Friday December 3rd!! Best of all we won Best Youth Float!!! It was so nice to have all of our parents and kiddos participate and show off in our UCC Preschool Academy Float!!!
Christmas is in the Air!!!
We have been busy already this first week of December and having lots of fun as well!!!
We have been decorating our room to look like Christmas and having fun with all kinds of Christmas art activities. We have even been learning and will continue to learn about the real meaning of Christmas! Last week, we started with Mary and Joseph and started making our own Nativity Scene. We made jingle bell ornaments and Christmas ring decorations. We even made our own Advent calendar that is helping us count down until Xmas, and even helping us with our math skills!!
This week, we will learn all about the angels and baby Jesus. We will also make reindeer decorations, make cupcakes to celebrate Jesus' Birthday on Christmas, and also make our own stockings by lacing and practicing our fine motor skills.
Ofcourse we havent forgotten our academics!! We are working on letter J this week and continuing working on writing our first names. We will do all things J, the phonetics, recognizing, and tracing of J. We will even glue juju bee candies onto J's!!!!We have also started a number book of 1-10 that we will finish next week. We will review our shapes using a shapes Christmas tree and work on finding same and different items.
We are looking forward to our Christmas Party where we will watch Charlie Brown Xmas, decorate our own Christmas cookies, eat popcorn, oh and do all of this in our pajamas!! Oh and don't forget our special visitor!!!
I will post some pics next time of our wonderful adventures as well!!!
