Week of April 18-22 Afternoon Class

This was a GREAT week! We learned about the letter "Yy" and all of the wonderful words that start with "Yy" like; yellow, yell, yes, yo-yo and yak. We also continued to explore the Easter story. This week also included a special field trip to Sunset Zoo. In class we have been learning more about zoo animals so taking a trip to a zoo was icing on the cake. All of the students enjoyed being at the zoo on a sunny day and seeing the animals up close. We were able to get a first hand view of bears, tigers, otters, bald eagles, and of course peacocks (they were roaming everywhere)! Take a look at some of the fun we have had this week.
